Public Case Submission-- Email Response

Hello we're currently new to FogBugz, and so far it's holding up well.  Nevertheless, we're a little confused about one thing.

We're trying to allow our customers to submit cases not only through email but also through the public case submission form.  We're able to edit the automatic response for the mail box, but we're not able to customize the automatic reply the customer receives when a bug is submitted through the form.  Are we missing something?  Can this response be customized as well?

Are you talking about the message that says:  "Thank you for submitting your inquiry.  You can track the status of your inquiry here.
You may want to save your case's ticket: NN_ABCD"?

That message can be updated from the lang.asp file in the FogBugz\Website directory - those messages in particular are stored in:
FB_SUBMISSION_THANKS
FB_PUBLIC_VIEW_URL
FB_SAVE_YOUR_TICKET

This file will be overwritten in an update correct?

It will be moved aside during an update and you can diff your changes and merge them.

For instance if you have FogBugz installed at c:\program files\fogbugz and you run an upgrade, the installer will move c:\program files\fogbugz to c:\program files\fogbugz.1 and then put the new version down in fogbugz.  Your files will still be in fogbugz.1 on the disk (they won't be deleted)
