using FogBugz Version 5.0.17 (DB 502) on Windows.
Every case, which is created because of an email sent to the bugs address, displays all other cases originating from the same email address.
This is misleading, as these cases are not related.
Is there a way to disable this? I would like to keep the "See also" functionality for the related cases (i.e. when a case is cited in another case).
Those are two separate things.
See Also refers to cases from the same email address.
Related Cases refers to other cases that reference this case. They are shown in two seperate sections in the UI (the see also alwasy appears right below the correspondant email).
If you really don't want them, edit the editBug2.asp file in the FogBugz\Website directory. Search for the line that says:
OtherCustomerCasesRow c.ixBug, c.sCustomerEmail
Insert a ' in front of it, so it looks like:
' OtherCustomerCasesRow c.ixBug, c.sCustomerEmail
That comments out the line, and prevents the "See also" line from being shown.
