Either the file permissions on that file (api.xml and api.asp) are not correct, or your IIS settings are preventing .xml files from being served.

I had to go in and add the users to those two files (api and the xml).  Then I had to set the permissions.

Now I can log in but in the upper right, in red, it says "API returned invalid <case>"

Try hitting the api through your browser.

First log off of FogBugz, then go to

http://yourserver/api.asp?cmd=logon&email=username&password=pw

That will give you a token, then do

http://yourserver/api.asp?token=ABCDEF&cmd=listFilters

Doing so gave me this:

<response>

<filters>
<filter type="builtin" sFilter="ez">My Cases</filter>
<filter type="builtin" sFilter="inbox">Inbox</filter>
<filter type="saved" sFilter="1">Schedule</filter>
</filters>
</response>

Try it in Firefox and tell me what you get (IE may be passing your logon credentials through)

That is in Firefox 2.0.0.1.  I just tried it again to be sure and it's the same thing.

We just updated the api last night... can you try replacing your api.asp file with the one from our website?
