Last-Viewed Filter Setting

I could have sworn, long ago, that FogBugz would save my last-viewed filter.  So, if I selected a filter, shut down the browser, and re-opened the browser and went to FogBugz, it would show me the filter I was last viewing.

For some reason, about a year ago, the system seems to have gotten "stuck" on one particular filter. This filter is now always shown when I open up FogBugz.

I was hoping this would be resolved when I upgraded to 4.0, but this is not the case.

Is there any workaround for this issue, to once again get FogBugz to save the last-viewed filter?

(Or, was I imagining the whole "save the last-viewed filter" feature?)

Well, I can confirm that FB does indeed save you most recently viewed filter. No idea how yours has gotten stuck though...or how to fix it.

Weird.  It should definitely save your last filter.

I bet the link you use to go to fogbugz though, has a command on it which sets your filter back to a certain one.

Try this.  Change your filter to something else.  Click on list. Do a search.  Click list again.  Verify that the filter is the same as it was before.

Now close your browser. (Make sure FogBugz is not the home page in your browser).  Open the browser, and go to the fogbugz url.  Click list.

Verify that it is the original filter.

Self-improvement program for self:

1. Open mouth.
2. Insert foot.

If my clients knew I was this freakin' dumb, they'd be very scared using our cost estimating software.

It was the link.

I feel rather stupid for wasting bandwidth on this.

Thanks guys!

Humbly,
Dave
