Fix For dropdown in customize filter

doesn't reflect any of the releases I have added. Only related post on this had it as a caching problem, but presumably this is not the case it's doesn't contain any of the releases. I'm on the ASP version. Thx.

Try going to Settings->Clients and editing one of your Clients, then clicking OK.  Do your Fix For options appear?

No, tried that. Sorry I wasn't clear. None of the releases show up, and I've edited a client multiple times since adding the first release. Also, the previous post on this Fog Creek said they were trying to get to the bottom of it rather than just have the workaround, so hopefully someone will chime in. Thx.

Hi Steven,

Ok, just wanted to make sure the caching issue wasn't at the root of this problem.  We actually have gotten to the bottom of that issue and it should be solved, but it never can hurt to check...

Do the Fix For options show up in any other dropdowns, like the dropdown in the New Case screen?

Yes. I can't recall all the places where it ought to show up, but at any rate I haven't had this problem anywhere I have gone except in  customize filter.

Long as we're going down this road, is there a way for me to have SQL access in the on demand model? Thx.

Hmmm.  Do the dropdowns for Projects and Areas show up properly in the customize filter page?  Do you have javascript turned on?

If it's ok with you, it might be easiest for me to sign onto your On Demand account and take a look at the problem myself.  If this is acceptable, just let me know and I'll send you an email so you can give me a temporary username/password.

Also, no, there is no way to get direct SQL access to your On Demand database.

Got it. You have to already be filtering by project for this to work.

Not that it's counterintuitive the way it is by any stretch, but it's not exactly obvious either. It would make just as much sense to me to list all releases for all projects.

Thanks anyway for your prompt response.

Ahh, I see.  Yes, that is a little bit counterintuitive at first glance.

I'm glad it's working now.  Let me know if you have any other troubles.
