Problem with from/reply-to field in email sent by FogBugz

When sending an email from FogBugz, we have two options on who to send the email from (in the From combo box).  The two choices are from a generic name, or from the logged in users name.

Application Support <application.support@foo.com>
Doe, John <application.support@foo.com>

When email is sent from the generic name, everything works as expected.

When email is sent from the users name, the copy of the email stored in the case looks fine in FogBugz.  However, the actual email that the user receives just has "Doe" in the from field.  When the user replies to this, the email obviously bounces.

Any ideas?

Log in as an admin, and click Users.

Scroll down to the John Doe name.

Is it listed as Doe, John?

If so, just change it to John Doe.  It's the comma that is confusing it.

Alternatively if your user names must be listed as Last, First, then you can edit dlgbugediting.asp

Look for
sFrom = rs("sFullName") & " <" & rs("sEmail") & ">"
sFromUser = cp.sFullName &  " <" & rs("sEmail") & ">"

I think if you change that to
sFrom = """" & rs("sFullName") & """ <" & rs("sEmail") & ">"
sFromUser = """" & cp.sFullName &  """ <" & rs("sEmail") & ">"

It should help...

Thanks, that ASP change solved the problem.
