Access to project by user

Greetings!

It is great that v4 is here. I am having fun playing with the demo.

There are some user access issues I am struggling with:

a) How do I restrict a user to accessing specific project(s) ?
E.g. webmaster & sysadmin access Web Site project
Developer and QA access product project

b) How can I allow a given user to:
      Add bugs to system
      Query by bug id
But NOT have full access to the list of bugs?

Thanks!

Create a new dept for your different groups.  Then assign permissions based on those departments and set your projects to be linked to the corresponding departments.

Example:

Department QA
Jill Tester  -- full rights --
John Tester  -- full rights --
Joe Sysadmin -- no rights --

Projects
Software Product A -> QA Dept.
Software Product B -> QA Dept.
 Administration -> Sysadmin Dept.

Restricting users access to specific Departments works well.

However, when the user from Department A logs in the first screen shows information about other bugs/releases/Departments.  On the left pane, these are the tabs

Open cases by Project === This is correctly restricted to the Department for the user
Open cases by Dept === This is correctly restricted to the Department for the user
Open cases by release === !! This contains count of bugs for other Departments, the bug counts should only be for the Deparment that the user is restricted to.

Same issue for Open cases by Prioirty and Open cases by person - the count includes all Departments.  This information should not be seen by a user whose access is restricted to only one department.

Is this a workaround for this problem?
