Allow users to enter bugs, and only see what they have entered?

Greetings!

One of our needs is to limit visibility into a project. For example, we want to allow our tech support folks to:

Enter new bugs
Query on any bug they have entered (by individual)

But NOT to see the whole project (where all the developer generated items are--which are %90 of the items).

How do I do this in FB4?

Thanks!

Any time you want someone to only be able see the cases they entered, make that project accept public submissions and do not give that user any other access to the project. So, if that's the only project they need to access, they don't need a license.

For public cases, all they will be able to see is the current status of the case, not the comments internal users enter.

How does someone enter a public submission?

Through the web gui, or only via email?

If you edit a project in FogBugz you can set it to allow public submissions.  Then if you go to FogBugz while not logged on, it will let you create a case in those projects.

Alternatively you can use email... that works also!
