Resolved vs. Closed and Filters

Being a single developer shop, it seems a little redundant for me to resolve and then close a case simply because I'm the assignee in both of these steps.

First, is there a way to have the system resolve and close at the same time?

Second, I've considered allowing cases to remain open until I have a few that I can bulk-close them once a week.  Is there a way for me to have the Open/Close filters consider resolved as not open?

We'll definitely consider the resolve and close functionality for a future version.

As far as the filters, just customize your filter so it only shows cases with a status of Active.

The resolve and close would be useful for me too.

I have just ported our customisation for this to FB4 (it was pretty much the same in 3).  We  want this behaviour only in a project called "Support Tasks".

In CBug:
Function Resolve( ixPerson, sEvent, sPathToUploadedFile, bFormatEventAsEmail, bAutoCreated )
    ixPersonAssignedTo = ixPersonOpenedBy
    dtResolved = Now()
    If sProject = "Support Tasks" And ixStatus = 2 Then
        Resolve = Close( ixPerson, sEvent, bFormatEventAsEmail, bAutoCreated )
        Exit Function
    End If

In dlgBugEditing.asp, Sub AssignedToRow(), replace
cper.Load ixPersonOpenedBy
If cper.fDeleted Then
    Dim cp : Set cp = New CProject
    cp.Load ixProject
cper.Load ixPersonOpenedBy
Dim cp : Set cp = New CProject
cp.Load ixProject
If cp.sProject = "Support Tasks" Then Response.Write "CLOSED or "
If cper.fDeleted Or cp.sProject = "Support Tasks" Then

You might also consider putting a trigger in SQL on the bug table to watch for the resolved status and flip the bit for closed.
