Filter sorting not working with grouped filter definitions?

I have a filter that I call "By Assignee". It shows all open bugs and features, grouped by assignee, sorted by:

Assigned To
Priority
Case ID Number (-not- Case ID Number Reversed)

There are three assignees at the moment. The first listed assignee's cases are sorted by Case ID descending - yet I didn't select "Reverse", just regular Case ID for the sort order. The next two are quasi-random sorted. Small runs of sorted items, in either direction, surrounded by lower numbered items above and below.

Is this a known bug? If not, I'd suggest that this feature isn't quite working yet...

This installation was just upgraded from 319 to 4.0.11

Thanks,

Joel (a different one ;)

What are the priorities?  It will sort by assignee first, then all the bugs that have the same assignee will be sorted by priority, then all the cases that have the same priority will be sorted by case ID.

For example:

3. Bob Priority 1
4. Alice Priority 2
5. Bob Priority 3
6. Bob Priority 1
7. Alice Priority 1
8. Alice Priority 3

will be sorted as

7. Alice Priority 1
4. Alice Priority 2
8. Alice Priority 3
3. Bob Priority 1
6. Bob Priority 1
5. Bob Priority 3

Michael, for the last 10 or so threads your name doesn't have the little green icon (recognized user).
