Escalation Report Email Problem

In our local installation of FogBugz, I opted to receive the escalation report daily.  It was working fine for the past week, however within the past day I have received the report over 300 times.  I checked to see if this was done via a service, however only saw the "FogBugz Maintenance Service".  I have attempted to unsubscribe from the report, however that didn't seem to do the trick.  How can I stop this?

Go into your MailQueue table and delete the probably 10,000 emails you have in there.

Then follow this article:
http://www.fogcreek.com/FogBugz/KB/setup/RightAccount.html

What is happening is that FogBugz is trying to record that it sent the mail in the registry, but because of an IIS bug (which the above article fixes) it cannot. So it thinks it never sent it, over and over again.

This will be fixed in the next release.

My configuration was correct, however that did fix the problem by removing the entries from that table.

Are you sure the fogbugz user has permissions to write to the HKLM\Software\Fog Creek Software\Fogbugz\[path to your install] keys?

And that the users are all set up correctly as described in the guide?  I'm only asking because I'm worried that this is going to happen to you again because FogBugz won't be able to record that the escalation report was sent...

I've double-checked those settings and the user "FogBUGZ" has "Full Control" to that registry key and everything appears to be configured correctly per the referenced guide.
