Where are EMAIL attachments stored?

We actively use the mailbox feature to automatically create cases from inbound email.

I was surprised to see this morning that an email that contained an attachment did NOT store the attachment in the [dbo].[Attachment] table.

The download link is:
?pg=pgDownload&pgType=pgAttachment&ixBugEvent=46306&sPart=2&sFileName=AdSense-Report.csv.zip

However, there is no attachment with ixBugEvent=46306.

Are email attachments stored someplace different, and if so, where?

Emails are just stored as they come in - right in the BugEvent table column s.  So the message may just contain plain text, or html parts, or other attachment parts, but the message source is saved in the BugEvent.s column.

Thanks. Then I don't feel so bad for just shelling out and downloading http://{url}?pg=pgDownload&pgType=pgAttachment&ixBugEvent={XXX}&sPart=2&sFileName={XXX}

At least somebody (besides me) is doing all the boring MIME/multipart nonsense. Thanks.
