Copying bug/issue into another project

We have bugs and work items that affect multiple projects. Is there a way to copy a bug/issue and open the same one in multiple projects without having to type everything up again?

I don't believe there is such a function in FB today. What I would suggest is that you have one "source" case and in the other projects create cases that relates to the source case. Writing "See case XXXX" in the case text automatically links the cases together. (where XXXX is the source case number)

Copying issues has its problems, because, once you make a copy of something, any time one of the copies changes, the other is instantly out of date, and it's easy for things to get out-of-sync, with differing information within the two copies.

Can you help me understand what function the copied case would have?  It's very likely we have a solution for this that beats making a copy.
